Blueberry Ice Cream ~ Ninja Creami Deluxe Recipe:
Homemade ice cream using the Ninja Creami is a game changer! It's so easy and quick to make ice cream at home and will definitely same you time and money.
While Ninja recommends 24 hours of freezing time, we find about 4 hours in a deep freezer sufficient to yield a creamy ice cream. Anything less, you'll risk a more smoothie or soft serve consistency - but we like that...
Modifications:
- Low-Fat: Sub fat-free or low-fat milk.
- Vegan: Sub dairy-free milk, such as Almond Milk. Sub Guar Gum for cream cheese.
What is a Ninja Creami?
The Ninja Creami machine is an ice cream maker designed to make homemade frozen desserts like ice cream, gelato, and sorbet. It can also make instant milkshakes, cocktails, smoothies, and frozen drinks.
Compared to traditional ice cream makers, you can literally use any combination of ingredients and skip the milk, cream, and dairy completely.

This Blueberry Ninja Creami Ice Cream Recipe is easy to make and tastes great!
Equipment Needed:
- Ninja Creami (We used the Deluxe)
- Ninja Creami Pint (Deluxe is 24oz)
- Blender
- Measuring cups & spoons
- Freezer
- Small Saucepan

Ingredients
Ninja Creami Ice Cream Base
-
1.5 Cup Organic 2% Reduced Fat Milk
-
¾ Cup Half & Half
-
1 ½ tsp Light Cream Cheese (Neufchatel)
-
1 ½ tsp Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste
Blueberry Sauce
-
1 ½ Cup Wild Blueberries - Frozen
-
⅓ Cup Organic Cane Sugar
-
¾ tsp Lemon juice
Directions
Prepare the Blueberry Sauce:
Combine the Blueberry Sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
Stir over Medium heat about 5 minutes, just until the blueberries have turned into a sauce-like consistency.
Remove from heat and let cool while preparing the ice cream base.
Prepare the Ninja Creami Ice Cream:
Pour the Ice Cream Base ingredients into the blending cup and blend until fully combined.
Pour the cooled Blueberry Sauce into the blending cup and blend with the ice cream base until combined. NOTE: Do NOT put frozen berries on their own with the ice cream ingredients. The Ninja Creami is not made to process like this and it can damage the machine and void warranty.
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami container and seal with lid. Do not pour higher than the “Fill Line”.
Freeze for 24 Hours:
Place the filled container into the freezer and make sure the container is LEVEL. Freezing in a deep freezer is best, but not necessary.
Not necessary, but to avoid a “bump” on the mixture that can occur during freezing, remove the lid while freezing.
Process Ice Cream Using the Ninja Creami (We used the Deluxe)
After 24 hours, remove the container from the freezer and remove the lid if used.
Place the container into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami and process on “Ice Cream” and choose “Full” for cup level. Follow your Ninja Creami instructions for exact details.
If the ice cream looks crumbly, add a tablespoon of Milk and re-spin.
Scoop and Enjoy! Ours we made into more of a “soft-serve” pictured.
